How does Amazon Creator Connections work for brands?
Amazon Creator Connections is an Amazon Ads marketplace where brands offer creators a bonus commission for driving sales of chosen products. Brands pay on performance, not per post. Amazon has not published a public rate card; agencies report a $5,000 minimum campaign budget that works as a cap rather than a fee, a 10% minimum bonus rate, and campaigns of 30 to 365 days. You set it up in the Amazon Ads console.
Key takeaways
- Amazon describes Creator Connections as a marketplace connecting creators with brands sold on Amazon.
- Creators can earn bonus commissions on sales, payments for traffic to sponsored products, or flat fees for sponsored social content brands can license.
- Agencies report a $5,000 minimum budget (a cap, not a charge), a 10% minimum bonus and 30 to 365 day campaigns. Amazon publishes no rate card.
- It works when the listing already converts. Creators send traffic; the product page closes the sale.
What is Amazon Creator Connections?
Amazon describes Creator Connections as a marketplace that connects creators with brands sold on Amazon. According to About Amazon, creators can earn through bonus commissions for driving product sales, payments for driving traffic to sponsored products, and flat-rate fees for sponsored social content that brands can license for advertising.
It sits in Amazon Ads, not in Seller Central's review or deal tools. In June 2026, Amazon Ads said Creator Connections was launching in India and would automatically connect Sponsored Products campaigns with creators from the Amazon Influencer Program, a sign of where the program is heading: closer to your ad campaigns.
Who is eligible for Creator Connections?
Amazon has not published a public eligibility page we could open. What we could verify:
- An Amazon staff reply on the Seller Forums (2024) said to check that your Amazon Ads console billing settings are in the US, China or Hong Kong, under Administration, then Sponsored Ads Billing.
- The same reply said the program lives in the Amazon Ads console under Brand Content, then Creator Connections, and that the account admin must grant access to other users.
- Blue Wheel, an Amazon agency, lists enrollment in Brand Registry as a brand representative or authorized reseller (September 2026).
- GOAT Consulting, another agency, lists an active Amazon Ads account, an active Seller Central or Vendor Central account, and Brand Registry.
If you meet these and still do not see it, the 2024 Amazon reply said eligible accounts were being added through an onboarding queue. Check with Amazon Ads support for your account.
How do Creator Connections campaigns work?
The brand sets the terms and creators opt in. Based on the Amazon staff guidance and agency write-ups:
- Open Creator Connections. In the Amazon Ads console, go to Brand Content, then Creator Connections.
- Choose the products. Pick the ASINs you want creators to promote. Start with listings that already convert well.
- Set the bonus commission. This is paid on top of the commission creators already earn through Amazon. Agencies report a 10% minimum.
- Set dates and a budget cap. Agencies report campaigns of 30 to 365 days and a $5,000 minimum budget, which caps your total bonus spend rather than being charged up front.
- Let creators join and promote. Creators who accept get links to share. You pay for qualifying sales they drive, billed through Amazon Ads rather than to each creator.

How much does Amazon Creator Connections cost?
There is no fee we could find to join. You pay bonus commission on attributed sales. Here is what is published, and by whom:
| Item | What is published | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon rate card | None published that we could open | Checked 7 October 2026 |
| Minimum campaign budget | $5,000, works as a commission cap, not a fee | Blue Wheel (Sep 2026); GOAT Consulting |
| Minimum bonus commission | 10% | Blue Wheel (Sep 2026); GOAT Consulting |
| Campaign length | 30 to 365 days | Blue Wheel (Sep 2026) |
| How you pay | Pay for performance, through Amazon Ads, not to each creator | Blue Wheel; GOAT Consulting |
Worked example: a $40 product with a 15% bonus costs $6 per attributed sale. A $5,000 cap covers about 833 such sales before the campaign stops paying out. If your margin after fees and ads cannot carry $6 a unit, lower the rate or pick a higher-margin ASIN.
Is Creator Connections worth it for a $100K a month brand?
Often, yes, as a test. It is performance-priced, so the downside is limited to commission on sales you actually got. The upside is off-Amazon reach and content you could not buy at that price.
Three conditions decide it. The listing has to convert, because creators send traffic and the detail page does the selling. The bonus has to fit your contribution margin after referral fees, FBA fees and ad spend. And the campaign has to run alongside your PPC, so you can see whether creator traffic lifts organic rank and branded search. That last read is where most brands get it wrong: they judge the campaign on bonus-attributed sales alone.
We run that analysis inside our $1,600 a month Full Account Management plan, alongside PPC, listings and creative. For brands also selling on TikTok Shop, creator work across both channels sits in the $3,200 a month Omnichannel Growth plan.
